Begin the journey with a drive of about 40 km from Can Tho
Visit Nga Bay Basket-Weaving Village
Stop at a traditional basket-weaving village in Nga Bay, where local families have been making bamboo baskets and carrying tools (Can Xe) for generations. Learn about the weaving process, observe skilled artisans at work, and gain insight into this important rural craft.
Nature Conservation Area Exploration
Continue to a nearby natural conservation area and explore the waterways by small motorboat (Vo Lai). Glide slowly through the canals, enjoy the fresh air, and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. Depending on the season, you may observe various bird species and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
Seasonal Rice Field Visit
The tour also includes a visit to local rice fields (seasonal), where you can walk along the fields, learn about rice cultivation, and understand how farming shapes daily life in the Mekong Delta. The landscape changes beautifully with each season — from lush green paddies to golden harvest fields.
